Real lives: Remembering Dr. Chris Upton

In their Ironroom blog Archives, Heritage and Photography staff at the Library of Birmingham mourn the recent death from cancer of Dr Chris Upton. Chris worked in the Local Studies department of the old Central Library many years ago and maintained his connection through frequent visits to Birmingham AHP. His wife Fiona worked in the department until earlier this year. During the last two decades Chris has taught at the City’s Newman University which remembers his life on its website.
