Today we celebrate 80 years since the first BBC television broadcast from Alexandra Palace in North London and can listen again to the wonderful Adele Dixon we learn of the rediscovery of a forgotten Victorian concert hall on the Ally Pally site.
I don't quite believe it was 'forgotten' but it's a great space and I hope the restoration is a success so we can enjoy it being used for performances again in a couple of years.
