This morning I am saddened to learn of the death of
photographer Colin O’Brien last Friday at the age of 76. Since his youth in Clerkenwell Colin
photographed the people and street-scenes of London and was, in recent years, a
significant contributor to the Spitalfields Life Blog. Two collections of
Colin’s work have been published in the last few years; ‘Travellers’ Children
of London Fields’ and ‘London Life’. Both these impressive books are available
from good booksellers.
